Well what can we say here? The main man, top dog, chief hounder. Bob is the man who started it all. From one car and a lot of rejection to over 25 cars, 100 borrowers and the admiration of all that know him. Seen here achieving a lifetime achievement award, none of this would have been possible without his dedication and hard work.
Clare is a classic nut. Or maybe a nutty classic, can never remember which. Having close to 30 classic cars in her collection and a background in using classics for business, its safe to say that she probably knows her stuff. If you are applying to borrow a car, then you will almost certainly speak with Clare.
Matt has owned classic cars since passing his driving test including several Morris Minors, a Triumph Herald, MG Midget and a pre-war Austin Ten Cambridge. A co-founder of the Morris Minor Owners Club (MMOC) Young Members Register, Matt has always been keen to share his enthusiasm for old cars and to encourage others to do join our hobby, something he is still doing today as a committee member of the Austin Ten Drivers Club and Chairman of his local MMOC branch. Matt deals with our clubs and owners ensuring borrowing goes smoothly,
Nathan acquired his love of classics when he found the Classic Car Loan Project back in 2020, proudly receiving the red Peugeot 205 that is still being loaned out today. At the end of his year with the car he just sort of, stuck around. Bob decided that since he couldn't get rid of him, he had better find him a job instead of making the place look untidy. Nathan took on the role of webmaster refreshing the CCLP website and subsequently building this one and in January 2025 he adopted the role of sponsorship secretary. AA Patrolman by day and Borrow a Classic allrounder by night!

We proudly announced at the FBHVC Expo on the 18th of January 2025 that the CCLP (Classic Car Loan Project) has rebranded to 'Borrow a Classic'. You have been redirected here intentionally. So sit back, relax and take a look around. We would like to thank everyone who has supported the CCLP for the previous 8 years and we look forward to having your support as we move into this exciting new chapter.
