Borrow A Classic aims to engage younger generations and their families in classic car ownership. Typically, borrowers are aged 21-45, but all applications are considered on merit, older applicants will still be considered where the loan would benefit a budding enthusiast, such as younger family member.
The loan period lasts 12 months and there is a short turnaround period before handover to the new borrower.
Applicants should expect a phone call if shortlisted from the owner of the car.

Borrowers must keep the car clean and well-maintained, with guidance from a mentor. At the end of the loan, the car should be returned in excellent condition, and an agreement will be established before handover.
Successful borrowers are expected to actively participate with BAC, Owners and any associated clubs by sharing their stories, experiences driving and maintaining any vehicle they may be allocated. These stories and photos may be used in the classic car press, websites, social media etc.
